Archival CollectionThe Oswego Heritage Council has a collection of over 30,000 items that have been preserved and are stored in the Barrett Family Archive Research Center at the Oswego Heritage House. We work with the Lake Oswego Public Library (LOPL) to help with scanning, digitization and metadata entry so that everything in our collection will be keyword searchable on the LOPL website. Every item in the collection is given an accession catalog number. The catalog assignment number provides information on the ownership, date of cataloging, accession number, object description number, and the specific specimen number in the collection. |
